Our new Vice President after winning the Sorghum Festival Division Tournamnet

Perry Franklin was unanimously approved by the EKTT Board and President as our new Vice President on January 20. Perry has competed one EKTT since August of 2018, and has not missed an EKTT event since. “When looking for a Vice President, I consider three things: reliability, drive and love of the sport. Perry has all three of those criteria in abundance. I’m extremely excited to work with him to continue building our success as a table tennis organization. He’s going to do an amazing job,” explains EKTT President Byron Risner.

The role of the Vice President is largely to help the President implement board policy, goals, and procedures. One of the VP’s main responsibilities is to help overseee the operations of league events. “When you have 30 plus players a week, and more on the way, over seeing league play is critical,” says Risner. “Perry is going to help us a lot in this area. He’s a great organizer.”

As EKTT moves forward, it’s leasership couldn’t be in better hands.
